Mitchy, North Pine first in new year's fixtures

MORETON Bay United are back at Wolter Park on Saturday for the first time since their epic PlayStation 4 Grand Final victory over Strikers last season.

This time Jets’ opponents are Brisbane Premier League side Mitchelton in a pre-season friendly, kick-off 6pm. Our Youth and Under 18 sides travel to Redlands on Sunday.

The fixtures then come thick and fast.

Jets then make the short trip to North Pine on Tuesday for a Youth/Senior double header, kick-off times 6.30pm and 8.30pm.

The competition fixtures start on Saturday week with Jets facing Olympic, Gold Coast City (formerly Palm Beach) and Peninsula Power in the Macron Cup.

Jets face Power on January 23, 7pm; Olympic on January 30, 7pm and Gold Coast City on February 6, 5pm. All matches are at AJ Kelly Park, Redcliffe.

The Macron Cup’s third/fourth placed play-off is on February 13, 4pm and the grand final at 6pm.

Our defence of the PlayStation4 NPL Queensland titles begins at Brisbane City on February 27, kick-off 6.30pm.

Round 2 sees Jets back at Wolter Park on March 5 when Brisbane Roar Youth are the visitors, kick-off 6pm.
