Wil Edmiston and Jackson Courtney-Perkins were big winners in the Moreton Bay United senior awards for 2020.
With the impact of COVID, the club has not held its traditional end-of-season presentation night, but the trophies have been handed out informally.

Jackson was voted the Players’ Player of the Year, in a close battle with Linden Farr, Alex Tabillon and Tom Aulton.
He also received the Best and Fairest award for, as coach Royce Brownlie said, “consistency and leading from the front for the whole season”.
Wil Edmiston picked up two of the Under 20 awards – the Players’ Player of the Year and the Best and Fairest award.
He was also named Jets’ Youth Player of the Year having made his senior debut in August and thanked colleagues in both teams for their support.
The senior men’s Coaches’ Award went to Declan Smith, who switched from centre forward to central defence when injuries struck mid-season.
“He defined the season for us," said Royce, "it was a tough year with COVID, injuries, starting, stopping, starting, but he adapted to everything and did a job for us every week.”
Matt Heath picked up the Golden Boot with 10 goals from 16 games, beating Jackson Courtney-Perkins who finished with eight.

Zozia Sen took the top Jets’ women’s top award, the Best and Fairest missing only one of their 20 matches.
Teyana Bielby, who also only missed one game, received the Coaches’ Award, while Jemima Head was voted the Players’ Player of the Year.
Jemima, who missed part of the season through injury, was also named Moreton Bay United’s Senior Club Person of the Year for the work she also did off the pitch.
Elisha Hickey, manager of Jets’ senior men’s team and women’s representative on the club committee, was the 2020 Most Valued Friend of the Club.
Royce said: “Elisha makes sure there’s not a thing out of place, not a thing we don’t need. She does so much for us and is always there for us.”
Moreton Bay United also presented five-year awards to Rhys Gwynn-Jones, Alex Janovsky and Byron Sinnerton.
