Champions ... Jets' Under 13-14 Girls with their trophies after wining their division at the Premier Invitational.

Moreton Bay United's Under 13-14 Girls have been crowned champions at the 2019 Premier Invitational on the Gold Coast.

In a remarkable performance, the girls dominated their division finishing undefeated in six games played over two days, scoring 25 goals and conceding none!

"It was a great team effort by all the girls playing quality games against teams one or two years older," coach Greg Bradley said.

"They stayed strong and fought hard right until the end."

The team was made up mainly of Jets' Under 13 Girls with the addition of two ACE players - Casidhe Connor and Brooke Latimer.

Steff Hallas was awarded the Golden Boot, while Nyree Burell and Kaitlin McCormack, who shared goalkeeping duties, won the Safe Hands award for best keeper.

It was great to see the girls having fun doing what they love - and a nice surprise to see Lauren Spreadborough, from the Jets Women’s NPLW team, pop in and show her support.
