Pride in Jets' sights

Jets Women have opportunities and challenges in the opening rounds of their 2021 NPLW campaign.

It starts on the road at Western Pride, who pulled out of last year's competition, but have rejoined this season.

Then a trip to last season's beaten grand finalists Logan, then a visit by Olympic who have stepped up two tiers from Brisbane Capital League 1 which they won.

That of followed easts, who were fifth last season, at Wolter Park and a trip to NPLW newcomers Sunshine Coast Wanderers.

The other newcomers are Peninsula Power, Brisbane City and Virginia.

After the first round of matches the competition will split into two leagues of eight as the NPLW before two leagues.

Jets new Under 23s precede the Women in all bar one round - against Brisbane City.
